About the Role
Weβre seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support daily IT operations, maintain systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist users across the organization. This role supports hardware, software, network components, and ongoing system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support IT systems including laptops, desktops, servers, operating systems, and security tools.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, software, printers, phones, and other peripherals.
- Support MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, LogMeIn, and encryption tools.
- Evaluate system vulnerabilities and recommend improvements for performance and security.
- Perform software installations, updates, and application troubleshooting.
- Support desktop/laptop devices, including Surface Pros.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues using command-line tools.
- Provide end-user training and technical assistance as required.
- Work within an Active Directory domain environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years troubleshooting MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, and similar tools.
- 3 years experience with hardware and peripheral troubleshooting (printers, scanners, monitors, etc.).
- 3 years supporting desktops, laptops, and Surface Pros.
- Hands-on experience in an Active Directory environment.
- Strong software installation and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic networking knowledge, including command-line diagnostics.
