Draftsman Chase Manufacturing | Full-Time | Onsite
Chase Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman to join our Engineering Team. We are a woodworking manufacturer that designs, engineers, and produces high-quality wood components for premium motorhomes and manufactured homes. This role is key in maintaining accurate documentation, supporting production with updated prints, and ensuring our engineering standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and revise engineering drawings in Fusion 360 (experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD platforms is also valuable).
- Work through markups and structured task lists to complete drawing updates.
- Evaluate and apply company drafting and documentation standards across all prints.
- Collaborate with engineering staff and production teams to ensure drawings align with manufacturing processes.
- Assist with revision control and updating documentation for engineering changes.
- Support quality checks by reviewing prints against production output and finished products.
- Maintain organized digital files and contribute to efficient documentation workflows.
Qualifications
- College degree not required for the right candidate with drafting and CAD experience.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 preferred; other 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) welcome.
- Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing a plus.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and other Office programs.
- Ability to work in an Agile project management environment (Kanban/Trello boards).
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
