Our Company: Chauvin Arnoux, Inc. d/b/a AEMC Instruments:We are a well-established world-leader in test and measurement instrumentation. We design and manufacture professional electrical test and measurement instruments for the industrial, commercial and utility marketplace. Specifically, our full product line includes clamp-on meters, transformer ratiometers, power quality meters, harmonic power meters, data loggers, megohmmeter, ground testers, oscilloscopes, cable testers, thermal cameras and numerous other electrical test instruments.

Primary Purpose: Our headquarters in Dover, NH seeks an individual whose primary purpose is to repair and calibrate electrical test and measurement instruments and to provide in-house technical product support.

Essential Functions: Electronic Repair Lab Technician IV

  • Able to troubleshoot customer repairs at a board level.
  • Performs calibration of customer instruments to NIST standards.
  • Provides technical product support to other repair lab technicians.
  • Analyzes repair and calibration manuals and suggest any corrections needed.
  • Contacts customers directly with any concerns about the status of the repair and/or calibration.
  • Assists Engineering in performing specialized tests as requested.
  • Ensures all Lab equipment is kept current and within calibration.
  • Suggests any needed improvement to make repairs or processes flow more efficiently.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent. 5-7 years of direct experience in similar manufacturing setting.

  • Capable of soldering and reworking electronics assemblies on all types of SMT components.
  • Able to understand circuit flow using an electronic schematic.
  • Familiar with all types of testing equipment commonly used in a lab environment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, power supply, multi- function calibrators and function generators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
