Part Time Cooking Class Assistant. Flexible scheduling. Only degrees in culinary and/or baking and pastry will be considered in this role.
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen is seeking a Part Time Assistant for cooking classes and events. This position is hourly ($15-$19 depending on experience) and is between 1 and 2 days a week (varying days Monday - Friday). We will work with you on your available hours/shifts. Each shift is 6 hours. Can up to 3 shifts a week for the right candidate. Occasional (once a month) Saturday mornings are also available if desired
Primary responsibilities are to prep trays for cooking classes, help teach guests the menu of the evening and answer cooking questions. Classes have a variety of themes/cuisines. Additional responsibilities include customer service and guest interaction.
Events are for adults, kids/teens and private groups.
Candidate must have great attention to detail, carry a warm presence and be comfortable to teach guests correct cooking methods. Must be hard-working and willing to go above to help out peers. We have a great work environment and support system.
Work Schedule: 1-2 shifts a week from approximately 4/4:30 - 10:00 pm. Flexible scheduling around your availability if other timing availability.
REQUIREMENT: culinary degree and 1 years of industry work experience. Line cook experience is a plus.
