Kitchen Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in preparation of fully cooked meals to be delivered to clients weekly
- Prep tasks include, but are not limited to: washing and chopping vegetables, making dressings, sauces, and dips, preparing meat for cooking, and other assistance as needed
- Portioning completed meals into delivery containers and accurately labeling for delivery to clients
- Receiving weekly supply orders, checking orders for accuracy, and storing and labeling received items in an organized manner
- Assistance in completion of monthly inventory count
- Washing dishes, cleaning of work station including sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping
- Restocking supplies and communicating needs for orders to Operations Manager
Delivery Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver client meals from the Chef Debbie kitchen to our clients in a timely manner
- Ensure the quality of items delivered and accuracy of the order using a provided checklist and following food safety standards for holding temperatures
- Provide friendly service and hospitality upon delivery
- Retrieve client bags from doorstep and upon returning to the kitchen, sanitize bags thoroughly and put them away to ensure they are ready for use the following weekend

Who You Are:
- Someone who is passionate about being part of the community and comfortable interacting with a diverse clientele and kitchen staff
- Hardworking and self-driven
- Available to work Thursday through Sunday on a weekly basis, with the possibility of extra hours throughout the week
- Able to lift 30-40lbs without assistance
- Able to walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout shift

Requirements for employment:
- Must be able to follow recipes and demonstrate basic kitchen knowledge and safety
- Punctuality, strong attendance, and professional attitude are essential
- Must be at least 18 years of age and live in the Tri-Valley (Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin and surrounding communities); comfortable navigating the area to complete deliveries
- Must have reliable, insured vehicle to complete deliveries
- Must be able to present a valid California State driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record to complete hiring process
- Must be able to provide a valid California Food Handlers card within 30 days of hire
- Open to learning new skills and taking direction/feedback
