What are the responsibilities and job description for the Short Order Cook position at Chef Ju'vons Personal Chef Services?
Chef Ju'vons Park Place Kitchen in Sanford, FL is looking for one short order cook to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 1305 S. Park Ave,. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
This position is one to cook our Sunday Boujee Brunch and willing to grow into other days as the demand is driven. We are planning to open on Saturdays in the month of January for a Boujee Brunch eggcperience as well.
- Should live local to the area of downtown Sanford
- This individual must have eggcperience with breakfast and brunch food items and can multitask (line eggcperience)
- Take food orders from as printed and prepare them quickly and accurately
- Keep work areas, counters and equipment clean
- Perform food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Work well with others along with having a great outgoing personality
- Provide excellent customer service and address any issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Previous experience is a plus
- SERVESAFE CERTIFIED, MANAGER IS A PLUS
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Knowledge of all health and safety regulations pertaining to food
- MUST be out going and relatable enough to greet guests
