Position Summary
Dr. Dragomir is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to perform calculations of the occurrence rate of planetary companions to Warm Jupiter exoplanets by using a customized survey search for transiting exoplanets in TESS telescope data and by computing the sensitivity and completeness of the survey.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in physics, astronomy or a related field by date of appointment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TESS observations, with searching for transit signals in TESS observations, and with filtering out false positives from planet candidates
- A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the University's mission to serve local and global communities
