Food Service Helper (Sheriff's Office)

FOOD SERVICE HELPER (SHERIFF'S OFFICE) - The Chenango County Area Agency on Aging at the Sheriff's Office has an immediate opening for a FOOD SERVICE HELPER. This is routine manual work involving responsibility for assisting in the preparation and service of food for a program administered by a Chenango County Department or Agency. An employee in this class also washes dishes and cleans and maintains kitchen work areas and equipment. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher level employee in accordance with established procedures and routines. Assists in the preparation and service of foods and beverages; Serves food from steam tables; Washes dishes, trays, pots and pans, silverware and other kitchen utensils by hand or by operating a dishwashing machine. Does related work as required.
