Are you ready to make a difference? Chenega Naswik International, LLC is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our security team. As a part-time Unarmed Security Guard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.
Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do:
- Perform unarmed guard services.
- Perform random patrol of building interior/exterior/external grounds.
- Manage Access Control and Surveillance (entry/exit/inside/outside of building).
- Monitor personnel access (entry/exit), visitor control and screening.
- Monitor Security and Emergency Alarms.
- Monitor Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) systems.
- Advise and report breaches of security hardware to include broken locks, doors, non-working cameras, communications radios, etc. to SAM Security Office.
- Maintain detailed, professional daily logs, incident reports & miscellaneous reporting and inspection support as required.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity.
- Conduct random screenings of individuals using handheld devices and walk through metal detector.
- Other duties as assigned.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of unarmed security experience.
- Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards.
- Successfully pass a medical examination.
- Certified to carry oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray.
- Possess a current Alabama Security Guard License with the State of Alabama.
- Possess the ability to fluently speak, read, write, and understand the English language, to include reading, understanding, applying printed rules, and detailed instructions.
- Possess the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports.
- Possess the ability to meet and deal with the public.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Knowledge of physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection for DoD.
- Be part of a supportive and dynamic team.
- Gain valuable experience in the security field.
