Job Summary
Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our warehouse team.
Job Responsibilities / Requirements
- Provide the resources and training to ensure employees increase their knowledge and grow professionally.
- Train personnel in the safe operation of powered industrial equipment and maintenance of a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Train personnel to stock, rotate, and put products in the correct locations.
- Train personnel to locate products, select, record, stack on a pallet, transport, label for shipment, wrap for transport, place in correct slips, inspect orders for accuracy, and / or load trucks with full pallets.
- Operate pallet jack, cherry picker, stand up reach truck, and manually transport product.
- Maintain records via computer and / or written data system.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull weights of up to 100 lbs throughout the shift. Weekend hours are required for this position.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
- Requires prior experience using powered industrial equipment in a warehouse environment; at least 4 years of reach truck experience preferred.
- Requires prior training and foodservice experience.
- Must be organized with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Requires strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Requires some computer and basic math skills.
- Must be flexible to train employees on both shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
