Senior Program Manager

Cherokee Preting is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support our INSCOM’s Modernization Security Protection (MSP) Program. The Senior Program Manager will be charged with the coordination of program activities and client contact. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for scheduling, tracking, risk analysis, cost management, and controlling the program. The Senior Program Manager will have full authority to represent the prime on all contract matters relating to daily operation of the task order.

Senior Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Manages project operations to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between customers
- Responsible for cost, schedule, performance and risk identification/mitigation on projects including but not limited to systems, tools, equipment, software, facilities and other activities
- Coordinates resolutions to production-related problems
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Senior Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Completion of a senior-level Professional Military Education (PME)
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Must meet one of the following:
- Master’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience to include: 3 years of management, 3 years as a Division or higher level planner, and 5 years of intelligence experience
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 17 years of experience to include: 5 years of management, 3 years as a Division or higher level planner, and 7 years of intelligence experience
- Master’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience to include: 3 years of management, 3 years as a Division or higher level planner, and 5 years of intelligence experience
- Ability to act for the contractor on all matters relating to daily operations of the program
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Program Manager activities required to meet mission requirements
- Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
- Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
- In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
- Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
- Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
