SUMMARY
Supervise all poker activities within an assigned gaming area. Coordinate with dealers and players and resolves any disputes that may occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Directs and supervises the work of the Poker Dealers.
- Provides input on staffing, performance appraisals, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Leads in the opening and closing procedures of the poker room.
- Ensures accurate poker inventory for opening and closing games.
- Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures and reports any safety hazards to the Poker Shift Manager.
- Maintains inspection of decks, ensuring the security of the game at all times.
- Maintains knowledge of dealer procedures and ensures they are being adhered to.
- Reports any irregularities to the Poker Shift Manager.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Lead/and or guide the work of other employees
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to lead and guide other employees.
- Ability to provide and maintain a high standard of guest service at all times.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must successfully complete training in CNE Gaming Academy.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment with constant exposure to smoke and loud noise. Requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Most work is performed while standing or sitting with occasional need to walk, recline, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle. Must be able to lift and carry 10lbs.
Salary : $23,700 - $30,100
