Job Description
As a Fountain Worker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding guest experience at Sweet Tea Restaurant located within the Gold Strike Casino in Robinsonville, MS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently take and place orders, serve food and drinks, and garnish as applicable in the work area.
• Collect money while adhering to proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of both the front and back of house, including clearing tables and counters, sweeping, and ensuring the dining area remains clean without disrupting guest comfort.
• Pack and complete orders according to guests' preferences with any necessary condiments.
• Label and date products properly following safety and sanitation protocols.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignments.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock them in designated storage areas, maintaining organization, stocking, and replenishing products as needed in workstations, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; if not resolvable, refer the matter to management and notify the supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related tasks as requested.

This role includes frequent standing and bending. Constant walking, reaching, balancing, and grasping items. Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 80 lbs. This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking. An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays, may also be required.

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
- One (1) year of guest service experience.
- Experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies, and equipment.
- Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, and beverage machines.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Basic computer skills and experience with various Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
