Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting in meal preparation, cleaning and sanitizing, and serving meals.
Job Duties:
Cleans dining area by cleaning tables and equipment, and sweeping and mopping the dining room area. Replenishes needed condiments and supplies in dining room. Prepares menu board. Assists in food preparation as assigned. Assists in setting up food service bar. Assists in serving food as needed. Cleans dishes by rinsing and placing appropriately into dishwasher. Cleans counters, floors, equipment and appliances. Removes dishes from dishwasher and stores in appropriate locations. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities are required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
No additional experience required.

Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
