As a Retail Banker, you will serve as the primary point of contact for individuals and businesses seeking financial services. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional member service while assisting clients with their banking needs, Teller Transactions, account management, and financial advice. You will leverage your knowledge of financial software and banking products to help customers make informed decisions.

Duties

• Assist members with processing basic teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, negotiable instruments, transfers and check cashing.
• Assist members with opening and managing bank accounts, including checking and savings accounts.
• Provide guidance on various financial products and services to meet member needs.
• Utilize financial software to maintain accurate records and manage transactions efficiently.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions.
• Conduct 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to transaction processing.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance member satisfaction.
• Stay updated on banking regulations and industry trends to provide informed assistance.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to Three years cash handling experience required. Previous experience in sales or previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred.
• Proficient in using financial software and tools relevant to banking operations.
• Excellent basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.65 - $21.83 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
