What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position at CHERRY CREEK COUNTRY CLUB?
The Landscape Foreman reports directly to the Landscape Supervisor. Under the supervisor's direction, the landscape foreman directs and participates in the maintenance of the community landscape; supervises the maintenance; and does related work as required.
General Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning and supervising the maintenance HOA and private homeowner landscapes
- Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment; supervises fertilizer and pesticide applications and/or operates and calibrates fertilizer and pesticide application equipment; supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation systems, central computer, and drainage systems.
- Complete daily job worksheets thoroughly
- Exemplify professionalism at all times
Employment standards:
· Working knowledge of landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, landscape cleanups, irrigation and snow removal
· Able to safely operate all equipment associated with landscape maintenance and construction such as mowers, skid steer, tractors, trenchers, etc.
· Spanish speaking ability a plus
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal direction
· Ability to schedule and supervise maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment; to prepare clear and concise reports; and to maintain effective employee and public relations.
· Possession of a valid driver's license
