Cherry Republic is seeking a Business Gifts Manager for our downtown Traverse City Sales Loft on Front Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated and responsible for the complete oversight of our Mail Order / Internet staff.
People Management Requirements:
- Managing people and day-to-day operational activities and providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
- Coordinating sales and marketing efforts to engage our customers and grow the department.
- Work on projects to create continuous operational improvements.
External customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the Business Gifts department for the company.
- Oversee the daily activities of the Business Gifts Department.
- Guarantee our customers have a great experience every time.
- Manage the end-to-end order process from quotes through order fulfillment and delivery.
- Hire Business Gifts Ambassadors in collaboration with the other Direct Sales hiring managers.
- Mentor and coach staff.
- Take responsibility for the effectiveness of Business Gifts Ambassadors Training.
- Build customer relationships by getting the guest what they want and delivering on expectations.
- Manage lead generation and responsive follow-ups in line with service metrics.
- Collect, interpret, and communicate customer data for strategic planning.
- Manage continuous improvement projects.
- Creation and maintenance of budgets in accordance with sales and projections.
- Audit marketing materials to ensure messages and content are accurate.
Necessary Skills:
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks.
- Successful experience leading sales teams during high-volume holiday seasons; larger teams during peak periods.
- Experience using technical software / CRM systems/ ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey daily and weekly expectations of staff and management.
- Act as a change agent with ability to drive quality and efficient processes.
- Ability to lead, coach, and address employee issues.
- Proficient use of personal computers, internet, Microsoft Office Suite. Technically Savvy.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
