What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Cheshire Community Pool?
The Cheshire Community Pool is looking to hire Swim Instructors for our upcoming swim lesson sessions. Our swim lessons are Monday through Thursday evenings from 4:00p to 7p or Saturday mornings from 9a-11:30am. Our duty is to teach Children or Adults how to swim in a safe and friendly manner. Classes you may teach range from parent and tot classes, beginner swimmers, to total lap swimmers. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
You may choose to work either the morning or evening shift—or both, if you're available. Please note: we have limited need for instructors in the morning.
Other Notes:
- We ask that instructors commit to being available for the full duration of a session.
- We encourage interested instructors to shadow current or upcoming lessons to get familiar with the process.
