What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Associate position at Chevy Chase Trust?
Overview
Assist and support the Client Service Team in the daily performance of duties and servicing of client relationships.
We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members to resolve client issues and meet client needs
- Open client accounts including verifying assets, cost and acquisition date of new assets
- Prepare and process cash contributions and distributions upon receipt of appropriate documentation
- Facilitate stock transfers for gifting
- Filing, copying, scanning and faxing
- Close accounts following the closed account procedures
- Process IRA and ERISA distributions
- Work with team members to monitor cash positions in accounts on a daily basis and resolve any overdrafts
- Maintaining administrative account files electronically through CRM
- Organization of documents and correspondence
- Complete special projects as requested
- Support the Senior Trust Officers in all other aspects of trust administration
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Job Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain legal documents
- General knowledge of investment products
- Problem solving skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner
- Proficiency and experience using MS Word, Excel
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
