  • Develop AI-assisted templates and processes to support scalable content generation.
  • Evaluate and integrate new AI post-production technologies and propose creative applications.
  • Mentor and lead: Guide less experienced editors and motion designers, providing feedback, training, and workshops to elevate team-wide creative skills and ensure consistent visual excellence.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Work directly with senior leaders, Creative Directors, and partners to deliver polished, emotionally resonant content that exceeds expectations.
  • Technical mastery: Engage in all stages of post-production, including color correction, motion graphics, sound design, and final delivery.
  • Cross-functional support: Collaborate with Colorists, Audio Engineers, Producers, and external vendors to ensure all deliverables meet technical and brand standards.
  • Innovation & research: Continuously explore hardware, software, and AI tools that optimize workflow and improve creative output.
  • Quality control: Participate in digital QA to uphold Chewy’s industry-leading production standards.
  • Flexibility & ownership: Anticipate creative pivots and maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You’ll Need

  • 7 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics design.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated experience producing national campaigns, branded content, and social-first storytelling.
  • Advanced understanding of all aspects of Post Production, including video editing, sound design, color grading, and visual effects.
  • Experience (or strong interest) in AI-assisted creative tools for video, image, and motion workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate creative feedback into actionable revisions.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Opportunity to define Chewy’s next era of post-production innovation through AI-driven creativity.
  • Work alongside passionate, industry-leading creatives.
  • A culture that celebrates collaboration, experimentation, and storytelling that makes pet parents smile.
