A Day in the Life of a Gift Shop Coordinator:
This position oversees the daily operations of the Cheyenne Regional Volunteer’s gift shop under the direction of the Manager Guest Services. The Gift Shop Coordinator recruits volunteer staff, maintains inventory, and manages gift shop finances.
Here Is What You Will Be Doing:
- Provides assistance and support to Volunteer Services leadership and the Board of Directors as needed.
- Oversees all financial aspects of Cheyenne Regional Volunteer’s gift shop.
- Oversees all functions involving the recruitment, orientation, and retention of gift shop volunteers.
- Supervises gift shop volunteers, activities, and schedules.
- Acquires and maintains gift shop inventory.
- Assists in the implementation of effective merchandising, including creating attractive and effective displays, marketing and planning promotions, and pricing, stocking, and selling activities for the gift shop.
- Travels between Cheyenne Regional campuses, to off-site events, and to semi-annual/annual market events.
