Receiving Clerk

Saint Joseph East is a 217-bed full-service community hospital located in the rapidly growing southeastern section of Lexington Kentucky. • Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributors/vendors and assists in unloading shipments from delivery trucks
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around stockroom
• Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments, contacting buyer to resolve shipment discrepancies and processing returns for any defective or incorrect items
• Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary and ensures that stockroom is clean and organized
• Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location
• Maintains records of all received shipment and contacts distributors/vendors directly or works with buyer to inquire about any shipment issues
• Addresses and answers clinical staff inquiries about pending orders and shipments

Education and Licensure

*High school diploma/GED

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years supply chain related experience or other relevant experience

Salary : $15 - $20
