Overview
Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for full-time Case Aide Supervisor in Maricopa County. Responsibilities
- Case Aide Supervisor will assist in overseeing a continuum of services for families who are involved with Division of Child Safety (DCS), and help them to build safe, nurturing environments for their children.
- Managing day to day operations to include, overseeing referral contact, service initiation and case aide assignment; documentation of contract requirements and compliance for the Case Aide Services.
- Partnering with stakeholders (responding to funding sources, creating relationships with partner agencies and community resources, etc.) (*relationship focused)
- Measuring and tracking progress and outcomes for children and families in line with DCS’ performance criteria.
- Communicating effectively with families, Case Aides, Child and Family Team members (stakeholders, therapists, case managers, etc), and agency management.
- Providing coaching, support and employee development to Case Aides and evaluating performance.
- Performing other duties related to the Case Aide position including:
- Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care, their parents, siblings and/or significant others to promote a continued relationship. (*action oriented)
- Coaching families in communication to foster positive family relations.
- Providing support in developing helpful parenting skills, stress management and other types of training to family members, including role-modeling techniques and practices. (*relationship focused)
- Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, supports, and community resources. (*community and culturally connected)
- Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks. (*individually tailored)
- Documenting all services appropriately. (*count on me teammate)

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work.
Qualifications
- Case Aides must be 21 years or older.
- Minimum qualifications High School or Equivalent (GED)
- At least two (2) years of related experience working with children & families preffered.
- An acceptable 5 year driving record: No more than 2 minor moving violations in the past 5 years; no major moving violations in the past 5 years; no At-Fault accidents in the past 5 years; no license suspensions/revocations in the past 3 years.
- Candidates are required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance, and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect. CPR, First Aid, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
