We are searching for an experienced Food Service Cook for preparing and providing snacks and lunch, for young children, in the Manchester area.
Benefits include a consistent weekly schedule Monday thru Friday, paid vacation, sick and holidays, 401k with company match and medical, dental, and supplemental insurance.
Responsibilities include :
- Maintains awareness of children's allergies and food restrictions, offering substitutions in consideration of children's allergic or food restrictions
- Creates menu, with healthy portion standards, ordering and receipt of all food / beverage items and supplies
- Maintains an organized and clean kitchen, conforming to state and health regulatory agency guidelines
Desired skills and experience :
- Previous experience in quantity food preparation (serving 100 meals daily) is preferred
- Serve Safe certified, meeting requirements of the state of New Hampshire and food service regulatory agencies
- Adaptable, with ability to relate positively with children and staff
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
