Our office-based Outpatient Therapists provide behavioral health counseling services to children and families on site in our modern outpatient offices in Akron, Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls and Twinsburg. Behavioral mental health therapy offers the therapist a wide variety of experiences not found in other settings such as private practice. We offer specialty therapies such as EDMR, play therapy and sand tray therapy in addition to basic treatment modalities. Our clients often face multiple challenges, including co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders. We include family in therapy and offer services in the community as well as in our offices.

We are looking for licensed outpatient therapists who can:
- Provide an atmosphere of trust, welcome, acceptance and hope for all clients
- Show respect for cultural differences, beliefs and values, and integrate information related to cultural traditions and values into treatment
- Conduct individual and small group counseling
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
- Plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans
- Provide guidance to facilitate clients' normal growth and development, and aid in their understanding and solving of current and potential problems
- Create case notes in Epic per current standards for content and timeliness
- Demonstrate appropriate de-escalation skills
- LSW with master's degree, LISW, LPC or LPCC licensure required
- Experience providing therapy to children and families preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of effective behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills
