What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/ Toddler/ Preschool Teacher position at Childcare and Early Learning?

Infant/ Toddler/ Preschool teacher

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students with their learning and development
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with behavior management and classroom discipline
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as directed by the lead teacher
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
- Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork

Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, such as tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with classroom management principles and practices
- Ability to provide caregiving support to students, including assisting with personal care tasks if necessary
- Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
