Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (associate required).
- 2 years minimum experience with children required.
- Director experience preferred.
- Must pass all state and federal background checks.
- Complete a health assessment & TB Test.
- Have knowledge and understanding of DHS regulations.
Job Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility & ensure compliance with DHS regulations.
- Manage employee schedule & time off request.
- Daily communications with staff & parents.
- Conduct classroom observations & assist teachers with implementation of approved strategies.
- Recruitment & onboarding of new staff.
- Create & manage employee files to ensure compliance with DHS and Keystone STARS.
- Manage child files to ensure compliance with DHS.
- Provide classroom coverage as needed.
