What You'll Do:
- Nurturing children through one-on-one communication and care.
- Maintain vigilant supervision of children.
- Participate as member of treatment team.
- Facilitate structured programs; i.e., games, outdoor recreation, etc.
- Assist children with hygiene, diet, getting ready for school, etc.
- Discipline as needed. Respond to aggressive behavior. Maintain group order.
- Complete daily report on assigned children.
- Complete behavior/restraint/incident reports.
- Ensure safety standards and infection control policies are followed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Part-Time / Set your own schedule
Potential Shifts: As Needed Basis with the option of pre-scheduling shifts.
- Monday through Friday - 2 to 10 PM
- Saturday & Sunday - 7:30 AM to 10 PM
- Saturday & Sunday - 7 to 3 PM or 3 to 11 PM
- Overnights - 9 PM to 8 AM
Compensation: $20.00/hr up to $2/hr shift differential pay
Requirements
Experience/Education/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Bachelor’s degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- References that can depict level of interest in working with children with behavioral issues.
- Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and software utilized by office.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Residential environment focused on care of children with behavioral issues. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to physically restrain a child in ways taught by the Agency while being able to verbally communicate to the child and other staff. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must successfully complete all required background/pre-employment checks. EOE/AA.
