- Assisting in setting up and disconnecting the dialysis equipment
- Monitoring and operating of dialysis equipment while in use
- Preparing the treatment spaces in between patients and assembles necessary supplies
- Monitoring patient vital signs during treatment, responding appropriately to visual and audible alarms and reports any unusual findings to the nurse
- Accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Flowsheet
- Reporting any significant information and or change in patient condition directly to the nurse
- Cleaning and disinfecting dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment and surrounding area between treatments, maintaining a clean and aseptic environment according to facility policy. Ensuring that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to policy
- Assisting in maintenance of Dialysis equipment including monthly water testing. Testing and monitoring machine functions, including alarms, conductivity, and temperature
- Assisting in supply management within the Dialysis unit
- Performing clerical and other miscellaneous duties as assigned, (i.e. collects patient information, etc.)
To qualify, you must have :
Schedule Information : 4 10-hour shifts, MondaySaturday
Shift Information : 6AM-4 : 30PM
