Supportive management and excellent teamwork environment. Part-Time Physical Therapist needed to be responsible for pediatric assessments, consultations, and therapies in the clinic setting. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, with heavy emphasis on collaborative care. Large Early Intervention caseload. Serving Orange County children and families with therapy services for over 15 years!Schedule: 1-2 days weekly, flexible schedule Responsibilities1. Assess, consult, plan and conduct treatment for pediatric clients and their families2. Continuously evaluate client needs, plan and problem solve in order to help each client reach his or her potential3. Communicate and collaborate with other professionals, paraprofessionals, and parents in order to provide an effective program4. Supervise appropriate staff effectively within scope of practice (e.g., DSPs)5. Document all consultation and treatment sessions on a daily basis, as well as provide appropriate documentation to interdisciplinary team6. Provide assessment, progress and discharge reports in a timely manner7. Maintain client files and treatment logs in an organized manner to include as well as provide appropriate documentation to interdisciplinary team8. Communicate with Directors regarding any changes in status, problems, or intent to change any aspect of services already in place; and, to discuss same with Directors prior to discussing with client’s family or referral source9. Attend and participate in meetings as required (e.g., Clinical staff meetings, team meetings, IEP/IFSP meetings).10.Develop instructional materials, and evaluate commercially produced materials for use in treatment11.Keep current on latest developments in field of physical therapy by attending professional seminars, reading current literature, and participating in professional organizations.12.Plan, coordinate and conduct in-service trainings for staff13.Keep careful record of billable hours which will require parent signature14.Perform other related duties as assignedEducation/Training: Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical TherapyCertifications/Licenses: Valid CA PT licenseExperience: 2-5 years of experience in pediatrics Additional Requirements1.
