Overview
Prepare, scan, link, assign Medical Records numbers, and notify providers of new documents. Perform quality check of images and identify errors for corrections.

Responsibilities
- Evaluates and analyzes health information documents for scanning and linking. Identifies scan errors for corrections and brings them to the attention of supervisor.
- Prepare documentation for scanning process according to established schedules and procedures.
- Perform other department functions including Release of Information, Chart Availability and Data Integrity after business hours.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience in a clerical or hospital environment; experience in filing, scanning, document management or any experience involving computer activity and sitting for long periods such as jobs in the clerical fields.
Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.00/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
