What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Treatment Provider position at Children's Resource Center?
The Children’s Resource Center has been serving the community of Wood County, Ohio for over 40 years. We are a team of dedicated professionals providing child-centered, family-focused mental health and co-occurring mental health/substance abuse treatment services to the youth of Wood County and their families. We provide a full continuum of trauma-focused care.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide children and adolescents opportunities to participate in a variety of group activities that promote safe decision making, social and friendship skill-building, problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive coping strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Facilitate skill building groups daily
o Provide outreach, assessment, and coordinated service planning
o Identify resources within the agency and surrounding communities
o Implement and coordinate service linkages
o Prioritize needs within your caseload (scheduling appointments, closing, transferring, referring, discharges, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, human services, early intervention, or early childhood education
Work Environment
o Must be able to work evenings
o Must be able to adapt to fast changing environments
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
A satisfactory criminal records check (BCI and FBI check)
