After-School Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters the intellectual and social development of students. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Educate students in various subjects, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Provide support for students with special needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
• Incorporate elements of childhood development into lesson planning to support holistic growth.
• Engage in sports coaching or extracurricular activities as needed to promote student involvement.

Skills

• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Experience working with students in various educational settings, including special education environments.
• Proficient in behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere.
• Ability to provide Christian counseling when appropriate, fostering moral and ethical development among students.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure student safety during school activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative teaching methods and sports coaching initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
