The RFP Management Team is an operational team that supports Choice’s Global Sales Organization by facilitating the proposal process between corporate clients and our hotels to drive incremental room nights and revenue. As a key member of our RFP Management Team, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of the RFP Process and ensuring operational success. Your Responsibilities Owns the complete RFP lifecycle for an account portfolio and maintains strict service level agreements and client expectations. Serves as the subject matter expert on the RFP process and utilizes knowledge and experience as a foundation of strategic support. Receives requests, builds proposals, and works with hotels to complete and respond to RFP solicitations and renegotiations. Completes inbound and outbound activities via telephone, email, Salesforce.com, 3rd party RFP tools and Cvent Transient. Ensures all accepted bids are successfully submitted for rate loading timely and accurately. Communicates effectively with field staff and management on account activities, customer needs, and other business opportunities. Collaborates with field sellers on RFP strategy and deadlines. Builds relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Maintains consistent high quality of work, sense of urgency on client needs and objectives. Serves as liaison between Franchisees and Sellers during business case season. Documents and maintains procedural support collateral. Assists with training when needed. Assists with the research and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, best practices, and development of solutions that improve service delivery and quality. Your Experience, Skills & Competencies Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience Two years’ experience in sales or customer service required. Prior experience in the hotel industry, hospitality, or related field, is highly preferred. Prior experience using CVENT Transient (Lanyon), Sabre, or other RFP Tools highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Demonstrates key competencies to include driving results, managing complexity and accountability. Your Team This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, RFP Response you will have 5 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis. Your Work Location As our RFP Management Coordinator, you will be a remote based associate, working from your home. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in Rockville, Maryland or Scottsdale, AZ. We are focused on safety and wellness in our offices, and as such, as a Choice associate you will be required to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status and provide a copy of your vaccination card.
