What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD (Substance Use Disorder) Counselor position at Choice Pain & Rehabilitation Center?
The Counselor or Trainee will be tasked with providing therapeutic intervention and care throughout the client’s attendance at the facility. The Counselor or Trainee will be expected to retain a case load of clients and hold retention to the best of their ability. In order to retain a case load the therapist must possess the necessary skills to be empathetic and make the client feel that their needs are being met, as well as ensuring that treatment goals are being met.
