The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services, located at 1010 Centre Ave, Reading, PA, is seeking Full-Time Youth Care Workers to cover our 2nd Shift (2PM-10PM) & 3rd Shift (10PM-6AM)

Position Requirements
- Must be at least 21 Years of Age
- Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or any Human Services field (preferred)
- Any equivalent to at least 2 years of college level course work or 60 college credits in a social/human service field OR
- High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate with at least 2 years’ experience working with youth.
- Required to work on weekends as scheduled by supervisor.
- Must past all pre-employment physical & drug screening include background clearances (Child, Criminal, FBI, and DMV)
- Ability to demonstrate basic oral, written, and verbal communication.
- Must attend all required trainings followed by shadowing prior to working on the unit.
- Ability to work effectively among various levels of behaviors and maintain an atmosphere of safety, support, and guidance to ensure a positive environment.
