What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Advocate-Martha's House position at Christian Care?
Christian Care in Rock Island is seeking a part-time advocate to work in our shelter for women and children. This position is 28 hours per week with the shifts being Friday, Sunday, Monday & Wednesday, 4pm-11pm. Responsibilities include general supervision and security, answering phones, new resident intake, overseeing medication procedures and completing documentation in a timely manner. Qualified candidate should have experience working with women and children in a diverse setting. Knowledge of trauma informed care principles, crisis management skills, professional boundaries and strong attention to detail a must. Candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Should be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Please apply through this posting. Christian Care is an EOE.
