Christiana Hospital is currently recruiting Registered Nurses to be trained to work on the CVOR (Open Heart) team. This role requires an Orientation, in which we will provide a 24-week paid OR Fellowship program that includes rotations in all surgical specialties and perioperative didactic courses that will culminate in inadequate preparation to function independently as an OR RN.
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Fellowship starts on Oct. 14, 2024
The selected RN will be an upbeat Cardiac Operating Room Registered Nurse Intern who wants to be a part of a growing operating room team passionate about providing excellent clinical outcomes through caring service to our patients and their families.
This position shift is predominately a Day shift and Monday-Friday but will require flexibility to work the Mid shifts and take Open Heart Calls, as required
REQUIREMENTS:
•BSN preferred
•Commitment to acquiring within three years of the date of hire can be considered with proven experience.
•Current RN licensure required
•BLS required
*Two years of nursing experience
