What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Worker position at Chromalloy?
SUMMARY:
A Metal Worker will possess a variety of basic manufacturing skills and abilities to assemble, fabricate and repair FAA components by utilizing various hand tools and equipment. This is M - F, 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and understand planning documents
Learn and perform basic manufacturing tasks and activities
Use equipment and hand tools to manufacture component parts to specifications
Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality requirements
Work to close tolerances
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
Good reading comprehension skills
Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment (preferred)
Manufacturing certification a plus
