Description:
Manage tee sheets, ensure pace of play, act as liaison between players and course management/employees, handle emergency situations and generally ensure the course is maintained and all aspects of play run smoothly while remaining professional and friendly at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tee sheets
- Communicate via radio then greet and start all groups prior to teeing off
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Maintain desirable pace of play
- Monitor play on the course being courteous and respectful
- Educate guests and enforce rules and regulations, removing golfers who are in violation
- Monitor weather conditions and communicate with pro shop regarding further plans of action
- Maintain course supplies
- Assist with maintaining cart cleanliness
- Maintain greens and fix ball marks
- Repair divots with sand on all par 3 holes, fix fairway divots, rake bunkers
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Knowledge
- Preferred: Basic Golf knowledge
- Required: Ability and willingness to learn
- Physical
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk throughout 8 hour shift
- Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, twist, and kneel throughout 8 hour shift
- Must be able to push and pull various equipment including rakes throughout 8 hour shift
