Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Junior Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of financial and operational reporting to drive visibility across our manufacturing operations and multi-channel sales performance, including both B2B and DTC. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience with financial systems, sales tax compliance, and business intelligence platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Systems & Reporting Tools
Assist with the administration and optimization of platforms such as Sage ERP, Qlik, and Avalara, ensuring data consistency and usability across manufacturing, sales, and finance functions.
Margin Reporting
Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to provide insights into gross margin performance and help ensure accurate standard costing practices.
Commissions Reporting
Produce monthly and quarterly commissions reports and coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
Sales Tax Reconciliation
Assist in sales tax reporting and reconciliation for transactions across multiple states and sales channels (wholesale and e-commerce), ensuring compliance using Avalara.
Budget & Forecast Support
Participate in the budgeting and reforecasting process, prepare variance reports, and analyzing profitability across B2B and DTC segments.
BI Dashboards & Insights
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports in business intelligence platforms that offer real-time insights into operational and financial performance.
Cross-Functional Support & Data Integrity
Partner with operations, sales, and marketing to deliver actionable insights and ensure the accuracy and consistency of reported data across departments.
Royalty Reporting Backup
Provide backup support for royalty reporting processes, ensuring contractual obligations are met and reports are submitted on time.
Ad Hoc Reporting
Perform ad hoc requests and duties as required by business demands.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in financial analysis or business reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods company
- Proficiency in ERP’s, Avalara, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau)
- High proficiency in Excel; ability to manipulate large data sets and produce accurate reports
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting both wholesale (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance in multi-channel environments
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools
Salary : $58,000 - $63,000
