We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Construction Outside Salesperson to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in promoting our commercial construction services and products, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Primary Duties:

Identify and Develop Sales Opportunities:

  • Prospect and generate new leads through market research and networking.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential clients, including general contractors, architects, and property developers.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

Product Knowledge and Presentation:

  • Thoroughly understand our commercial construction services and product offerings.
  • Create compelling and tailored presentations to showcase the benefits and value of our solutions.
  • Effectively communicate technical and complex construction information to clients.

Customized Solutions:

  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to create customized solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Provide consultation to clients on construction project requirements and offer expert advice.

Quoting and Proposal Development:

  • Prepare detailed proposals based on client specifications.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable projects.

Market Analysis:

  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline to ensure steady progress towards revenue targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Achieve Sales Targets:

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience.
  • Proven experience in outside sales within the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction materials, processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to meet clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or related field is a plus.

Competitive Salary and Benefit Package for Proven Leaders

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
