The successful candidate will join an established team of three physicians providing specialized pulmonary and critical care services to a diverse patient population in the Tri-Valley area.Key Responsibilities36 patient contact hours per week (full-time)Outpatient pulmonary medicine at clinics in Pleasanton (primary) and Livermore (secondary)Inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine at Stanford Tri-Valley HospitalInpatient pulmonary consultation serviceInterpretation of pulmonary function tests (PFTs)ICU coverage (6-8 weeks annually, scheduled in 1-week blocks)ICU night shifts (1.5 per month) and swing shifts (1-2 per month)Call schedule: 1:3 rotation for Pulmonary coveragePractice EnvironmentThe position offers a typical outpatient volume of 14-16 patients per day. You'll work closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians in a collaborative environment.
