Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments using the Heartland POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication of customers
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Assist with event planning and catering services as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food service and beverage industry practices
- Proficiency in operating the Heartland POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items and specials
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and ability to recommend beer selections to customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
