Configuration Management Lead

Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a Configuration Management Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.

Key Duties

• Conduct audits of artifacts to develop and maintain accurate as-built models and drawings across all ITSD technical areas.
• Use Visio and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to create and update configuration drawings and models.
• Support the development of an MBSE program to transition from traditional Visio diagrams to a model-based environment.
• Lead and train a team in the use of MBSE tools during the transition from Visio.
• Assist in moving Requirements and Architecture baselines under Configuration Management control.
• Lead a team in reviewing Change Requests and work items to perform Configuration Management and drawing/model updates using the BMC Remedy™ ticketing system.
• Collaborate with engineers to gather configuration change details and update associated models and drawings.
• Oversee the team responsible for updating and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in BMC Remedy.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
