Cimarron is seeking a Configuration Management Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties
- Conduct audits of artifacts to develop and maintain accurate as-built models and drawings across all ITSD technical areas.
- Use Visio and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to create and update configuration drawings and models.
- Support the development of an MBSE program to transition from traditional Visio diagrams to a model-based environment.
- Lead and train a team in the use of MBSE tools during the transition from Visio.
- Assist in moving Requirements and Architecture baselines under Configuration Management control.
- Lead a team in reviewing Change Requests and work items to perform Configuration Management and drawing/model updates using the BMC Remedy™ ticketing system.
- Collaborate with engineers to gather configuration change details and update associated models and drawings.
- Oversee the team responsible for updating and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in BMC Remedy.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 4 or more years of configuration management experience.
- Current DoD 8570 approved IAT Level II certification (ex: Security ).
