At Cinepolis, our bartending cast do more than ask if your drink will be shaken or stirred – they create moments of sheer enjoyment!  

ROLE PURPOSE
Bartenders create a spirit of excellence and fun and can be key in creating an indulging experience for our guests. They must have a wide breadth of knowledge and ability to recommend items as well as ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines. They also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet guests who approach all bar area immediately with a smile and warm hospitality, embodying Nice and Amazing Service
• Demonstrate Passion and Commitment by rapidly and accurately taking food and beverage orders and using selling maximizations for every guest
• Create a unique and amazing experience for guests by possessing full knowledge of bar and menu items and being able to make recommendations
• Check guest’s identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements, for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for server’s orders, guests at the bar, and lobby following standard recipes
• Clean as you go including glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables
• Implement alcohol service and safety training, including but not limited to the following: ensuring that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only, not over serving an intoxicated guest, and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
• Keep Bar Supervisor up to date on inventory levels
• Wash and sanitize all stemware
• Process all payments correctly and promptly to ensure they have a smooth transition into the theater
• Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist
• Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 years of bartending experience
• ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications preferred or must complete training and certification provided by Cinépolis prior to working on the floor
• Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math
• Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Equally comfortable communicating and working with guests, peers, and supervisors
• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending and traversing stairs on a frequent basis
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends
