Senior Data Analyst

Description

Senior Data Analyst needed to serve on a complex technology implementation. Responsibilities include:

• Lead strategy-driven research planning, management, implementation, and analysis efforts. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Manage and improve existing reporting systems and performs complex analyses. 
• Conduct, facilitate, and educate team on analyses, issues identification, risk assessment, and decision-making processes
• Develop and implement best practices in data collection methodologies and analyses. 
• Define data assets (data models) for collection and population of such data models. 
• Lead collaborative and relationship-building efforts across relevant internal and external stakeholders to support successful evaluation and assessment efforts.
• Provide consulting and analytic services to leadership. 
• Provide technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.

Requirements

Requirements for the job include:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline and 7 years of of professional experience collecting, developing, and interpreting key data points to support operational decision-making in the public sector OR a Bachelor’s degree in the areas above and 10 years of experience
• Working knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration
• Must be detail oriented and think logically
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong team leadership and risk management
