Meet the Team
You will directly provide communications support for two executives (an SVP leading Global SE and a VP responsible for Technology Strategy) and collaborate with the Global SE leadership team, technical experts, program managers, and collaborative partners to build and deliver impactful content. This role provides an opportunity to lead and co-develop presentations and narratives for internal/organizational and external (customer, partner, and company-wide) speaking engagements and events, as well support creation of comprehensive preparation materials!
Your Impact
This strategic Executive Communications and Content Design role supports Cisco Global Solutions Engineering (Global SE), a global, matrixed organization empowering 6,000+ technical sellers. In this position, you will drive content strategy and development for all executive presentations and related supporting collateral. You'll ensure all communications assets reflect impactful and consistent executive-level messaging and visuals, thought leadership, and clarity around both Global SE and Cisco's priorities, innovation, and differentiation.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Global SE executive communications: Provide communications counsel to senior executives and their extended Leadership and Technology Strategy teams.
Build content aligned with business objectives, including presentations, key messages, executive talking points, briefing documents, FAQs, and templates.
Support events by co-developing content and storylines for Global SE keynotes at GSX, Cisco Live, and other major events in collaboration with Global SE Operations, Communications, and cross-functional teams.
Lead content development and speaker prep for biannual All Hands meetings, and support communications for Global SE programs, announcements, and special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in Communications, Executive Communications, Marketing, and/or Public Relations
Experience in PowerPoint, designing and structuring executive-level presentations that inform and inspire diverse internal and external audiences
Previous experience supporting communications for a Sales, Engineering, or customer-centric organization
Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex subjects into clear, engaging messaging and brand-compliant visuals
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with sound judgment, adaptability, and minimal need for oversight
Ability to work cross-functionally in a global matrixed organization, with a dedication to collaboration and serving as a trusted communication partner at all levels.
Salary : $99,000 - $132,000
