Function
The primary responsibility of the Infrastructure Administrator will be to implement, analyze and maintain the IT Infrastructure, including servers, appliances, server-based software and networking equipment. The Infrastructure Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting of issues/errors for all servers, appliances, and networking equipment. This position will also serve as a backup to the Desktop Support Technician and Service Desk Personnel as needed.

- Usage, Uptime, Connectivity, Performance
- Security settings and remediation
- Troubleshooting of issues/errors
- Service Desk Tickets
- 2nd level of escalation for infrastructure tickets
- Servers, Appliances, Networking Equipment, Software
- Back-up to Desktop Support Technician as needed
- Back-up to Service Desk Personnel as needed
- 2nd level of escalation for infrastructure tickets
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Work Experience
- Minimum of three years networking experience required, banking experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Windows based network architectures and protocols
- Strong knowledge and understanding of PC hardware, software and common desktop systems
- Proficient in performing, break/fix, installations, and upgrades
- Experience installing and troubleshooting software for the above platforms
- Analytical Skills - process flow analysis, systems analysis
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies effectively
- Ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and develop effective solutions
- Ability to explain technical problems and fixes from the user’s perspective
- Strong customer service, troubleshooting, problem resolution and analytical skills developed and applied in a technical environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Experienced professional requiring little supervision
- Ability to follow up on assignments, and complete tasks in a timely manner
Education
- High School Diploma required.
- MCSA certification required.
- Associates degree or higher preferred or equivalent work and education related experience. MCSE/MCTS certification preferred. CCA Certification preferred. CCNA Certification preferred.
