Position Title: Flex Security Officer (Part-Time)
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour DOE
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)
Location: Moberly, Missouri
Citadel Security USA is hiring dependable, motivated Flex Security Officers to join our growing team. This part-time role requires availability across various shifts (days, swings, nights, and weekends) and a strong commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.
As a Flex Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets at one or more client locations. The ideal candidate will have a background in security, law enforcement, or military service, but we also welcome individuals with a strong work ethic and desire to serve.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Conduct fixed post, foot, or mobile patrols based on site needs
- Monitor entrances, exits, and perimeters; perform access control duties
- Identify and report suspicious behavior or safety hazards
- Assist in emergency response protocols and collaborate with local law enforcement
- Write detailed incident reports and complete shift activity logs
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public
- Uphold all site-specific policies and procedures
- Support ongoing risk and threat assessments
- Remain alert, adaptable, and responsive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age (required for insurance coverage)
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (I-9 documentation required)
- Able to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must own a smartphone (used for scheduling and timekeeping)
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement
- First Aid, CPR, or emergency response training
- Basic computer skills (email, reporting systems, time tracking)
